Life in the Desert
The silence and immensity of the Sahara create a different rhythm.
Here, time slows down, leaving room for an authentic and timeless experience.
Climate
The climate is dry. Rain may occur during summer and more rarely from October to April. Cold winds are possible in winter and sandstorms may occur during spring.
During the day, from October to April, temperatures range between 20°C and 28°C. In summer, they can rise above 35°C.
After sunset, temperatures drop quickly, sometimes reaching 0°C during winter nights between December and February. In autumn and spring, temperatures are generally between 5°C and 10°C.
Djanet is located at an altitude of 1,035 meters.
